...hmm. Am I the only reader who really DIDN'T want to see Nagoya? She should've just gone away and come back crying weeks/months later or not come back at all and have the series end there or with an extra chapter or two of Y trying to come to terms with the loss.

Humanizing Nagoya (not to mention drawing parallels to how aggressive Y was in courting S) dilutes the narrative.
