Here I am again making one of these posts, despite the fact that there are still 2 full days in the month in which the donation gap might be closed.  Still, 84% with only two days to go is somewhat disheartening so here I am.  Please donate if you can, every dollar helps.

In other news, this financial situation has compelled me to push up my timetable for upgrades.  Perhaps when some of you see the new features you will feel so overjoyed that you'll be compelled to help out with donations.  Sometime tonight parts of the site may be temporarily inoperable as the new features are brought online.  I will do my best to make the transition as smooth as possible but there may be some bumps along the way.  I must warn you, because of this 'rush' there may still be some bugs running around.  I was adding new features as recently as a few hours ago so I haven't had time to test everything in every way.  In addition to some completely new features I've made a lot of behind the scenes changes to sections of the site that will be outwardly undetectable provided they are working properly.  If you notice any odd or dysfunctional behavior coming from any part of the site tonight or in the next few days please be sure to report it in the site support section of the forums as soon as possible.  Please focus on reporting issues where things don't work as they seem like they are supposed to.

And on the subject of testing I could use more people to help out with that, just as I could use more staff and more (active) helpers.  If you've got free time on your hands and want to be of more active assistance to Mangatraders send me a pm and maybe you can.  Attention to or better yet obsession with detail and structure is a big plus.

Downloads don't work

Speaking of donations.
The figures on the donations page look somewhat weird now.
For example, I donated $10 - and now it shows  $9.31. Other people's donation figures seem to have changed the same way.

I told you there could be bugs running around.  I didn't expect the bug would be in the most important module of the whole site though. But then again where else would it be  Anyway I have squashed that download bug so lets hope it was the only one, or at least the only major one.

And congrats to Riyal for being the first one to notice and thank me for the new features instead of complaining about something.  If I had a prize to give I'd give it to you.

@Dragoncat: One of the changes I made was to show the actual donation amount we actually receive instead of the amount that was donated.  When someone donates $10 Paypal takes out a service fee and Mangatraders is credited with only 9.31.  When these fees all add up we end up coming short of what we actually ask for every month.  To avoid this in the future the total bar and the individual donation bars now reflect the actual amount of money we have received from the donation.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who donated this month both before and after my begging post.  I'm glad we made the goal, and I hope we can continue to make it each month.  I'm far too tired to detail all the new features I've added though so that will have to wait until tomorrow.  However, I'll give another phantom prize to anyone who can spot all the new things all by themselves.

Thank you for all the new features, and for the donation figures I think it's a good idea to show what is actually accumulated- that is what MangaTraders actually gets in the donation total without paypals fee.

The "######" is the account ID number, which is different for each user.

i am somewhat a frequent user of mangatraders, and i understand how hard it is to maintain the website.. I have to confess, i have not donated a single cent.. I feel really bad about it... there is two main reason why I have yet to donate any amount.. 1) there is no PAY PAL system in Malaysia... I wonder why.. 2) I have no credit card... what should I do?
