but i heard recently here in the philippines that a certain tv network is making a filipino version right now...aaarghh!!! they're gonna ruin the story!!! i want to stop them!!! they've already made filipino versions of several korean dramas and they ruined the storylines...aargghh!!!
Sometimes, I am happy, that I live in Poland:)People, who make a TV series here don't even think of using Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese ones. But they torture us airing(?) The Bold and the Beautiful:/ I also feel really sorry for you, because Full House can't be better. It is so funny, and I loved when Young-Jae was having his wavy hair:) I shouldn't make an off-topic, so I'd say something about definitely not-worth watching T-drama- Magicians of Love. I had found it on Mysoju and thought that it may be good. Especially the part, when the heroine changes her style (it can be seen in an opening). I waited whole night and guess what- she didn't do, what I expected to happen. Furthermore, the plot was just stupid. So if you accidentaly find that drama, please don't watch it.

I've only watched Long Vacation, Kimi wa Petto, Gokusen and they are my fave in that order LOL I quit after a couple of episodes of Hana Kimi because it was so off from the manga that it was irritating me to no end. I want to see Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, and Lovely Complex drama/movies.
Oh! and there was this one drama I was watching but I forgot the name of it and can't find it anymore. It started off with the Wife telling her husband she wanted a divorce and then he tells her they'll talk about it when he gets home from work but when he comes home he finds her gone already. When he wakes up in the morning he hears movement and thinks it's his wife but it's their 7/8 year old daughter that she left behind. I wish I could remember the name of it so I could finish watching it. Anyone here know?

My favorite was definitely Kekkon Dekinai Otoko. It's seriously funny in places. I also enjoyed Dr Koto Shinryojo and the first season of Gokusen. We're watching My Little Chef now - it's also pretty good.

My favorites JDrama would be Shotgun Marriage and Long Vacation. Although I've seen many that are quite good, but these 2 remains my favorite.

This is a little off topic, but does anyone besides me want to see a Korean version of Hana Kimi? Please no requests for Yoon Eun Hye in the lead role. Have a little imagination people! Besides I don't think she'd do it anyway, she'd end up being typecast.
Another thing I'm curious about- does anyone think that they will ever make a drama version of Ouran High School Host Club?

I want that! I hope it would be closer to the original storyline too. I wonder how many idols would be in it. I couldn't watch the J-version because it was so far removed. I didn't watch the T-version but planned to after I finished The Devil Beside Me. I'm surprised there hasn't been talk of a Ouran Drama being made.

I didn't watch the T-version but planned to after I finished The Devil Beside Me. Personally, I didn't care that the J-version of Hana Kimi wasn't very close to the storyline. It was still a good story. Besides the ending was pretty close. The TW-version flipped it. They started out pretty close, but the ending was so incredibly different. Not to mention I don't think Ella was all that cute. I mean she wasn't bad looking, and Mizuki is supposed to be kind of androgynous, I just like Maki Horikita better. The Koreans just did Hana Yori Dango, which was a HUGE success, so a Korean Hana Kimi might not be so far behind. I'm surprised there hasn't been talk of a Ouran Drama being made.
I've heard rumors about it for years, but I've never seen anything concrete. I'm just really curious how it would turn out.
