Why, lots of people of course. I started reading this series over two or three years ago because of the first preview that was published in Jump USA. Needless to say, it became an addiction rather quick. What impressed me the most about Prince of Tennis when I read the first volume was that the author was able to write an interesting comic about tennis. Granted, nobody should approach this title seriously, because they're going to be sorely disappointed with magical tennis balls and counter techniques, especially in the anime, but what I really love about Prince of Tennis is how much fun it is with its huge cast of characters and wacky tennis matches. Not to mention the insanely huge franchise!

Never was good at tennis I think the only time I was ever to score a point is when the ball hit my chest and went over the net. As I would play tennis if asked, but I do not find it interesting to play. Despite this I found PoT enjoyable. Now I also found Gaint Step which is about tennis also interesting but hey I like sports manga.

That has got be the worse lie I have ever ever heard. Honestly this is one of the worst sports mangas out there largely because as mentioned above it doesn't represent the sport at all. Not to say that most sports manga do but PoT takes it to a new level of bad with the glowing and power ups. Hell in the first wolume the main character does something that a professional tennis play could never do in a million years. At least other mangas try to be slightly realistic PoT doesn't even come close.

is prince of tennis over? cant say im sad but i had to see it through. very predictable ending, i wont even say anything about it being realistic, beccause there was nothing realistic about it (not that i expected any reality)
Talk about the end Prince of Tennis in the Prince of Tennis thread no need to make a separte thread for it ~Veleon
