Midori no Hibi: Seiji Sawamura is the toughest seventeen-year-old in town, feared by all for his fighting prowess and his deadly "devil's right hand." But at heart, Seiji is a softy, and all he wants is an end to his seventeen-year history of being a lonely single guy. Unfortunately his tough-guy reputation only serves to decrease his popularity with the ladies. One day, however, a girl appears in place of his right hand.

8 volumes (completed)

I really liked this manga because of all of its absurd comedy. This is a shining example of how Japanese people can think of one of the stupidest plot ideas but, yet, fully develop it into an enjoyable series. I mean who just thinks "hmm, wouldn't a manga about a guy with a girl for a hand be awesome?"

Anyways, I'd like to hear what you guys think about this hilarious manga.

To me, this manga is quite fun to read. It shows the progress and development of almost each characters. The drawing isn't that great, but the story make up for that.

oh yeah I really loved midori no hibi (in fact, i read it three times and still i never get bored, but rather lol ^^ )

It's the best example of the saying "simplicity and comedy" isn't it? ^^

question: does anybody knows where I can download (free) this manga in raw? I think it I'll enjoy it more in it's true form.

I like it for these two reasons

1. Hilarious
2. Tough guy falls in love with his hand...and he's not even in jail Smiley

I agree with you but for me it has even more reasons as why it's good  Smiley

3. Cute girl in a hand (Like Seiji said:''This gives a new meaning to a right hand)
4. Crazy idea twisted into a good story

I think the thing about MnH that I admire most is that it's such a simple, stupid idea and it could have been so lame, but thanks to Inoue-sensee's ability at character development and telling a funny story, it's probably the best romance/comedy I've ever read.

I really love the mangaka humor, check "ai kora" for those who appreciated midori comedy. Both series are really hilarious!!
